After Norah runs out on her wedding, she ends up heading to her hometown and getting a ride from Bennett, a grump that pushes her buttons. When she makes it, her sister is surprised to see her after so many years but agrees to let her stay with her. But in order to stay, she needs to contribute, and she sets out to find a job. When she finds an opening for an assistant to an artist, she is very interested. Turns out Bennett is said artist and single dad to Summer. When her "interview" excites Summer, she gets the job. She is soon falling into a routine and spending more and more time with Bennett and Summer. This was such an amazing story! It was quite different from Max Monroe's usually rom-coms, as it was extremely emotional, but I enjoyed it all the same. I'm looking forward to reading about Josie and Clay next!
