I really didn't like Sully through most of the book, he is such a frustrating character. It is hard to see why Eleanor fell so hard for him early on. There were so many ups and downs in this book, some truly catastrophic events and a couple of happy ones. It seemed that anytime there was any positive progress for their relationship, it got slammed down with way too much force. Eleanor is a great FMC, strong and willing to fight for what she wants, albeit occasionally making foolish decisions. Yet another cliffhanger at the end, which is annoying that each book so far has ended on one. I believe the next one does as well. Yet I am almost afraid to read the next one since, based on the reviews, it is the darkest and emotionally draining so far. What happened at the end of this book was bad enough. I don't know how much more emotional upset I can take from this series.
