The story is okay, but the writing is just so juvenile and the mention of social media is over the top. E.g. it reads “Under the circs” instead of under the circumstances, this would be alright if it was marketed at teens. I couldn’t deal with the writing style, so I purchased the audio book and listened to it at 2.2speed, so that I could get through it as fast as possible. I give 3* because, had I not found the writing to be so dire, I would have enjoyed The Skeleton Key.
