3.25 stars Fantasy elements mixed with Bridgerton vibes? I was so excited for this. Whilst this book was somewhat entertaining, I found it lacking. I didn't believe in the main romantic pairing. I felt there was more telling us, than showing us about how their feelings developed. It felt flat and partly why I couldn't enjoy the book properly. Parts of the ending were surprising but nonetheless, I guessed large parts of it. I felt the book was rushed and the story could've developed more, integrating the ton and the Otherworld further. It was an enjoyable book but I'm left disappointed.

Oh my god, please tell me there's gonna be another book. I need to know how this ends.
