A nice concept but didn't like how obsessively heteronormative it was. Not really a single character whose mini arc wasn't about a man in some way. (The old lady <spoiler>getting a dog her husband's spirit won't be scared of</spoiler> is sweet tho gotta admit.) Also one of the inspirational happy relationships being between a 17yo high school girl and a mid-20s corporate worker is like, weird. (They don't have sex on page and he claims he's waiting but...still.) And it's not like I expected anything about the Takarazuka Revue but the shows around the time this book was written were mad popular, takes some effort to almost entirely ignore it?
