Well written but I just find elaborate serial killers inherently a silly concept (and thus struggle with anything that actually presents them seriously) and it never quite gave me enough reasons to ignore how much I don't like cops. A solid Not For Me tho I enjoy this author generally—the problems are with the popularity of the serial-killer based romantic suspense genre as a whole.
