I was really excited for this because I loved The Midnight Hour. But The Birdcage just didn't hit the same. Several half sisters are made tonvivist their dad and you learn about their summers together and the different relationships. One year something goes wrong and the mystery is unfurled. I found it difficult to navigate the different time zones along with the different POVs. I listened to the audiobook and I'm not sure I enjoyed the narrator.
