Warren and Maisie were high school sweethearts. Maisie wanted to pursue her dreams and went off to college in New York while Warren stayed in Willow Branch Mountain. He supported her dreams and proposed to her. They got married, but it quickly became too much. Maisie still wanted to be in New York to pursue her dreams, but Warren didn't want to leave their hometown. Maisie ended up still leaving and things never got settled between them. Seven years later, Maisie is engaged to another man and returns to town. Only problem is, she and Warren are still married... and her fiance doesn't know. I absolutely loved this story. It was such a great start to a new series that I can't wait to read. While there were some questionable decisions made between Maisie and Warren, I loved how this story wen along and ended. I love how much Warren loved Maisie and never gave up on her no matter how much time went on. I also really liked how this story was concluded with the two of them, how they finally worked things out. Received an ARC and give my honest review
