Posey is Warren's oldest sister and works on the goat farm on their family's land. She has had a crush on Silas forever but after hooking up after Warren's wedding 8 years ago, she avoids him like the plague. Silas is Warren's best friend. After his fiance breaks up with him, he is not only out of a place to stay, but also a job. When the idea for him to stay with Posey and work at the farm, he's not sure if she will go for it. But she begrudgingly agrees but decides to put him through it at work. Slowly they become friends and decide to help each other find dates to a wedding coming up. I really enjoyed this one. After finding out what really happened 8 years ago, Posey's able to forgive Silas but she was still hesitant to let her feelings resurface. I loved the second chance aspect of this so much. Silas messed up and against his feelings, he tried to make things work with other women over the years. Even though it took for him to be broken up with to finally get his head out of his butt, he did finally realize what he deserved in a relationship and that none of the women before could hold a candle to Posey. And like also with Brooke's story, I loved the glimpses of the rest of the family. Received an ARC and give my honest review
