Amelia is a single mom that has had horrible luck with men and life, but is working hard to get her life together. Colt is the middle Langston sibling and is waiting for the one to love and start a family. Amelia and Colt meet at Wilder and Delilah’s wedding and hit it off. But after a memorable night, Amelia leaves Colt without a word and he thinks he’ll never see her again. A year later when a man follows Amelia and her kids home from the store, she needs a safe place to stay. Colt offers his home and ensures that her and the kids are safe and cared for. I absolutely loved this story! I love Colt and how sweet, caring and protective he was. He always made sure the kids were cared for and protected, while also showing Amelia patience and love. I also really enjoyed the mystery/ suspense aspect of the story. This one is definitely in my top favorite Brooke stories. Received an ARC and give my honest review
