Dani is a PhD student. She doesn't feel like a relationship is worst it while she's busy and focused on her work. Zaf is a security guard for her school. During a fire drill, Dani gets stuck in an elevator and Zaf saves her, with a video that goes viral. With the internet going crazy about their relationship, Zaf begs Dani to play along. She agrees to fake date him and use him as a friend with benefits. But they soon start to realize that things aren't really fake anymore. I really enjoyed this book. I loved that Zaf showed Dani that the right person would never force her to pick and chose between her work and their relationship. Especially knowing that her work is super important to her.
