2.5 ⭐ This book was vastly disappointing. Mafia romances are my favorite; this is my first book by this author, so maybe it's that because the storyline is something I normally would like. I didn't like the MCs, he was all hard with no real softness towards FMC, she supposedly liked that. I felt absolutely no connection between the two, there was instant love & no reason for it (he wants to keep her after an hour & she is in love less than a week later). Didn't get any chemistry from these two. The sex scenes for me were very lackluster (way too many spankings).
