This picks up right up at the cliffhanger left from Shatterproof. Arley has become a target and she, Slater, and his team are trying to figure out who the threat is and how to stop them. Once they have a lead, Slater and Blu plan to follow it. But while they are executing their plan, Arley is taken. Will Slater get her back? Will he be able to save her in time? I really enjoyed the conclusion to this duet. Slater does all he can to make sure Arley is safe and will go to the ends of the earth to save her. After reading this, I look forward to reading more by Xavier Neal in the future. Received an ARC and give my honest review
