This was not bad, intense but not as emotionally gripping as I anticipated… there was a lot going on. Its VERY war-heavy (LOTS of battle scenes and repetition) and very trauma driven. I liked it, but i felt like it was repetitive at times and should have been shorter. There were some parts it was overly descriptive with some things I didnt really care about and was more interested in the story moving forward. There were some twists where I was like, ok wasnt expecting that, then there were parts where I was easily able to predict something. I did enjoy the character growth, and even after everything the redemption and closure was satisfying. 🌶️ 3/5 Who doesnt love a good “hate fuck”? The spice was good, but seemed a little skimmed over at times. I personally would have preferred less battles and more spice - even with side characters it was pretty fade to black… The love/hate push and pull was really good with the MCs. Other Notes: I know this is a fanfic, and not a fully fleshed edited/novel, there were a lot of typos and grammatical errors that would stop me in my tracks and slow me down, I feel like a little effort in spell check would of helped.
