Krysta was supposed to be done with her bodyguard gig, but when she's offered a crazy amount of money to accompany Addison Hayes on a cruise and keep her safe, she can't say no. Addison is a singer who has ventured into influencer territory and is about to go on the first cruise that she is organizing. Krysta is icy and grumpy, while Addison is bubbly, and they seem to butt heads at first, but quickly realize that there are other feelings hiding. I enjoyed this story. This was a fun and light sapphic novella with a little bit of suspense. I felt that it was a good addition to the Christmas Notch series and gave us an HEA for Krysta.
