This was a very easy, enjoyable read to get through. Very Gilmore Girls-coded. Cozy, small-town fall vibes and all the melodrama of being a teenager: quarrels with friends, complicated crushes, and the inability to let go of things. Still, this wasn’t a favorite read. I found Lucy really frustrating at times, both in character and in her actions. Also, she’s a self-proclaimed loud chewer and that’s like a quadruple no from me. Still, a cute read nonetheless. Perfect for this time of year.
