I love a sports romance. And this was no exception. The characters were fun, they were both grumpy, both in the sport, and they just worked so well together. The way the Kieran boosted Joanie’s confidence, and Joanie helped him see he was a better man than he thought he was, just worked really well in the story. I love Joanie’s personality, especially when she spoke up for herself and found her voice. Jack and Ollie were great side characters too, both of them playing their part in the storyline. A really enjoyable read.
