This was more of a cozy dark romance. I loved Roman; he was sweet & kind to Nina, and you could feel his all-consuming love for her. He was very possessive but gave her freedom because he loved her so much and would do anything for her. Theirs was a very sweet love story. Unlike your typical blackmail to marry a crime lord, he is considerate and doesn't force her to do anything; all he asks is that she marry him for a period of six months, and only has to play act as the loving wife in front of others. He is not forcing himself on her, and she can do whatever she likes in her free time. Considering her Dad stole 3 million from him, I would say that isn't too bad of a deal. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series.
