Nick and Elissa were everything to each other. They were inseparable. When Nick went off to college and Elissa decided to stay home and care for her mom, they stayed together and wanted to make it work long distance. When Nick made the US team, he dropped out of college, and it made their already difficult relationship even harder to deal with. Until they both blew up and said some things they didn't mean and broke up. Four years later and Nick is home after a serious injury. Him and Elissa fall straight back into their love for each other, but they are both unsure of the future. Elissa is worried that Nick will break her heart again and isn't sure what to do about it. Nick doesn't ever want to hurt Elissa again but doesn't even know what will happen with his injury. They eventually talk things through and feel like this time will be different, but they won't know until Nick fully recovers from his injury. Then Elissa finds out she's pregnant and that adds even more unknowns into their future. I loved this story so much! Nick and Elissa have been in love with each other for so long, and it has never changed for either of them. I cannot wait to see how things play out with Nick and his injury and Elissa and her pregnancy. Received an ARC and give my honest review
