Keep Me in Your Heart

Monica Murphy

4.32

Step into New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy's mesmerizing and emotionally charged romance featuring Rowan Lancaster, the son of Crew and Wren from A Million Kisses in Your Lifetime.

This was supposed to be the best year of Rowan Lancaster's life. Instead, thanks to a massive linebacker, his ankle is broken and his last football season at Lancaster Prep is done. Just like that. Now his days are dull and gray. Boring.

Except for the days that include Arabella Hartley Thomas.

She's the girl everyone wants to be friends with. Beautiful but approachable. Stylish. Quirky. Yet she gets under Rowan's skin like no other, and he doesn't understand why. Sure, they flirt and banter and give each other grief. But now she invades his dreams and makes his heart pound so hard he's sure she can see it.

Until suddenly, not only does Arabella see every part that he wishes he could hide, he realizes if he let himself, he could fall—hard.

Which is the same day he learns she might be leaving . . . for good.

Rowan, Crew and Wren's oldest son, has recently been injured and lost his chances to play football. Arabella, a fellow Lancaster Prep student, has a huge crush on Rowan and is not afraid to show it. They have gone to school for years and love to bicker and annoy each other. That is until Rowan finally starts to really see Arabella. Rowan notices that Arabella isn't going home for Thanksgiving, so he offers to have her come home with him. She decides to go but is nervous to meet Rowan's family. His family instant loves her. Rowan and Arabella grow closer over the holiday break and get to know one another more and more. I really enjoyed this story. Arabella is definitely one of my favorite FMC of Monica's. I loved how outspoken and unembarrassed she is. I also really enjoyed the chemistry between Arabella and Rowan. Rowan reminded me of many of the Lancaster men, grumpy and cocky before they realize they're in love, then they turn into grumpy teddy bears for their ladies. Received an ARC and give my honest review
