This is an ARC review that I am giving in exchange for reading the book! I don’t do reviews very often so bear with me. I love how the book begins with a pronunciation guide, made things so much easier for the reading. I enjoyed the story and liked the way the characters were written, however I do think that Emerald seemed way too quick to accept the things that happened in the first few chapters and that maybe it could’ve been expanded on a little bit further? (Unless it’s supposed to be the insta-love trope?) The plot twist completely caught me off guard! There are a few spelling/grammar errors, but they didn’t affect my overall enjoyment of the story. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and am excited for the next instalment (I hear it’s set to be a trilogy!) (I hope the review is okay)
