I Hope This Email Finds You in Hell
New ReleaseWhen staying late at the office leads to witnessing an exorcism, Brie Benson's mundane life takes a hellish turn…literally.
After her parents' death, twenty-seven-year-old Brie has mastered the art of compartmentalization to survive her mind-numbing routine as a receptionist at a life insurance company. But when she accidentally catches her hot, uptight boss, Luke, performing an exorcism on Debra from accounting, her carefully ordered world implodes.
Swearing Brie to secrecy, Luke reveals he's from a line of demon hunters and that demonic activity is spiking. But when her emotional support coworker vanishes, Brie is determined to find her. With nothing left to lose, she convinces Luke to let her join his rescue mission.
The problem? Their destination is hell. And the entrance is in Times Square.
Now Brie and Luke must navigate a corporate underworld of monsters and bureaucratic nightmares while racing to save their colleague and repair a tearing veil between worlds. All before their growing feelings become irrelevant and hell claims them forever.

I ate this UUUUUP. 🙂↕️ Honestly wasn't expecting this book to hit like it did. I was looking for a more action packed book, and obviously love a romance, so this book was right up my alley (especially since I had a major crush on Dean Winchester back in the day). Brie's backstory is very intriguing, and gives her character a lot of depth in having guilt following an accident that you feel you could have prevented. She becomes a badass throughout the story, in a way that feels genuine and not just for plot. Her personality shines in this, and her one liners and sass really made the story so fun to read. Luke is the aloof MMC we all know and love, with a heart of gold and really shines towards the end of the story. The more you learn about him, the more his actions make sense, which I really enjoyed. We also love a bisexual king and when the representation doesn't become an obstacle later for the main couple. 🖤

ARC provided via NetGalley and Berkley ✨ Workplace romance, demon hunting, and one bed? Yeah I ate this up. With a Dean Winchester coded MMC and a quick-witted firecracker FMC, this story hit all my marks. Luke and Brie are a dream together. I originally discovered this book on Instagram and knew it would be a personal favorite.
