Firstly, thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Sarah Gallego for the advance audio book. I admit this took me a couple of chapters to really want to be fully invested, but once that moment got me, I was all in. I couldn't stop listening to this, and found myself wholly intrigued. I adored Pablo so much, he at points was the star. I enjoyed that Mattias and Sorrow had a previous connection, and I know it was a slow burn, but my word they seemed to dance around things more than was needed (at a couple of stages, not all the way through) The supporting characters worked so well in this story, and the twists?! They were twisting! I am very much looking forward to the next book!
