Noah is an ex-NHL player and co-owner of a cidery, Stick Taps. His sister just got engaged and wants to have her wedding at the cidery, but Noah is on the fence about it. After a lot of begging and running numbers, Noah realizes that agreeing will not only make his sister happy, but will bring more revenue into the business. Odette is Noah's sister's best friend and wedding planner. She is need of some good news when it comes to her business, as the last few weddings have not got well. After Noah agrees to have the wedding at Stick Taps, Odette insists on helping with the renovations so they will be spending a lot of time together. All this extra time reignites old feelings that they both have of each other, but will they take the plunge together? I really enjoyed this story. I love me a good hockey romance and I love the retired hockey player just as much. I loved the grumpy/sunshine dynamic with Noah and Odette so much. I felt like they were such a good balance for the other. I also enjoyed the little glimpses of Noah being a secret softie (like with Tootsie and Pork), which made his just that bit more lovable.
