This short story was a really interesting quick read, it gave some real cosy paranormal vibes. The story was well paced and didn’t feel rushed at all, even though it’s only 70 pages. However, I do feel like some aspects were very “cartoonish”, specifically later on in the story and I feel like the ending could’ve been handled differently as the sudden revelation seems like it was added just to resolve the issues. One other minor thing, a personal preference but something that stuck out to me, was the fact that Annee uses the term “unalived” to refer to Casper’s ghostly state. It just bugged me a bit 😅
