Artefacts of Ouranos #3

Fate of the Sun King

Nisha J. Tuli

4.56

The highly anticipated third installment of the steamy Artefacts of Ouranos series journeys deeper into the glittering fae world as Lor puts both her life and her heart on the line in this enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance.

In retrospect, pissing off both the Sun and Aurora Kings wasn’t exactly Lor’s best plan. Because now they’re out for blood. Hers.

But Lor is a survivor. She survived imprisonment, the Trials, and everyone else who’s tried to kill her. Now—armed with just enough information to make her dangerous—she’s on the run . . . with the Heart Crown in her possession and a prince at her side, who is awakening her locked-up heart and her magic.

Unrest stirs in Aphelion, where the air is heavy with whispers of rebellion—and the secrets of a king who will do everything in his power to cling to his rule. Lor finds herself caught in a maelstrom of lies and betrayal, but she is determined to uncover the truth about the Artefacts and their role in shaping her destiny—bringing her closer than ever to getting everything she’s ever wanted . . . or losing it all forever.

Filled with secrets, betrayal, and a love that both stirs and stings deeply, Fate of the Sun King is the third astonishing book in the breakout Artefacts of Ouranos series, perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer Armentrout, and Rebecca Yarros.

WHAT WAS THAT ENDING UGGGHHH! I have no idea how some of ya’ll do it… Luckily the last book just released, so it’s fine, THIS IS FINE! lol This has come a long way from book one, with character growth, world building depth, and the plot pacing is good. I love all the different POVs and Shane East YES, a narrator I am discovering to be very fond of. I enjoyed how there was more info with not just the past in this world, but the beginning of time and beyond that. There were a few things or moments that were slightly predictable, sure, but theres several different paths set up in this one, anything can happen at this point, and I’m still invested and entertained. 🌶️ 4/5 That beginning dedication or intro author note, “dont worry they finally bang in this one” had me laughing from the get-go. The slow burn finally burns, and its pretty hot. This was fun, spicy, and that end…
