Falling Out of Focus

I thought I was drowning, but all I needed to do was breathe. My world as I knew it had imploded. Fired from my job. Blackballed in the industry. Walking in on my cheating boyfriend...the structured life I worked so hard to build was falling apart—which is exactly why I gave in when my mother suggested a trip home to Scotland.

I hoped to find clarity in the rolling countryside. Instead, I stumbled onto the unimaginable. One minute I was standing on a scenic bridge contemplating life. The next...I was falling. Tumbling down into a cobalt and teal canvas where the ocean and sky became one. Encased by water and chilled to the bone, I woke in a land of Fae queens and talking otters. There, I would learn that anything is possible for those brave enough to let go.
