Rory is Auden's twin sister, but they are complete opposites. She's feisty and kinda grumpy towards people. But Rory loves animals and owns a vet clinic (and is a vet). Lucus Lawson plays for the Seattle Serpents and is a complete playboy. One cold, wintry night, walking home from a bar, he finds a puppy in an alley. He rushes the puppy to the nearest vet's office, which just so happens to be Rory's. Lawson keeps the puppy, and Rory ends up helping him out frequently. The more time they spend together, the more they get to know each other. Rory sees the real Lawson and hates that she likes it. Lawson sees Rory for her and loves her mean! I absolutely loved this story, and I just loved Lawson and Rory so much! 💙 I always love Teagan's writing, and this was one of my favorites! Received an ARC and give my honest review
