Lilah is Auden's best friend and when her mother is determined to set her up with someone, she decides to lie and say she's already seeing someone. Fox is the goalie for the Seattle Serpents and overhears Lilah saying she's seeing someone. He decides to step in after a bit to support her and they agree to pretend to be dating... which turns into them pretending to be engaged. I loved this story so much! Fox is such a good guy but hates that people thinks he's a push over or too good. While he is definitely a good guy, he knows when to stand up for himself and those he cares about. I love how Fox shows Lilah love and that she's worthy of love, after realizing that she hasn't been shown either. Received an ARC and give my honest review
