Tw: Manipulation and physical abuse Loving someone changes the perspective you have of them. Regardless of the horrible things they do to you.. This book perfectly captured toxic relationships. Caitlyn's relationship with Rogerson Biscoe was not overly exaggerated. It was very believable. It was emotionally capturing and I was invested after the first 20 pages. Sarah Dessen made it easy to sink into the story and feel for the characters.
