When Geordie lad Steve Adams found himself single again, his friend Tim and Tim's partner Gemma thought that he had been on his own for too long. They hatched a plan to encourage Steve to enroll onto a dating site, hoping he would meet a suitable girl to take away his loneliness. Although Steve was reluctant to join the dating site, with a bit of persuasion from his friends he finally agreed to give it a go.

He was soon caught up with the excitement of finding someone new, especially when he became infatuated by the beautiful Marlene Atkins. Marlene was a stunning blonde bombshell from Harrogate in Yorkshire. Steve thought she was gorgeous, a dream come true.

The more Steve exchanged conversations with Marlene, the more he was attracted to her. The thought of Marlene was taking his lonely feelings away, making life exciting once again. Steve was both nervous and excited when their first date was arranged.

When meeting up with Marlene, Steve was in awe. She was a stunner, more beautiful than her profile. After meeting up with Marlene a few times, Steve gradually fell head over heels in love with her.
