Omg!! I thought the first book was good but this one truly blew me away! This had so many vampire diaries vibes and I loved every single second of it. DEACON IS EVERYTHING!! The second the audiobook started and I heard Teddy Hamilton as Deacon I knew it was game over for me and Viv. God I thought I was enjoying the enemies to lovers in half city but that was nothing! Also all the side characters and relationships between them was everything. I wrongly assumed that this was a duology for some reason and I am DYING at that ending. Omg I need book three immediately This series has be back in my fantasy era and I am absolutely here for it.
