Liked the Hallmark Movie more and that’s saying a lot because those movies are really sugar coated with predictable plots, happy endings and the characters and plots all seem alike. Jenny Hale’s book is predictable and does have a happy ending, but unlike the Hallmark movie, I did not like the characters that much. They were just too much. And I think I made more than a few notes while reading this about how the heroine couldn’t understand the hero and how she just didn’t know who he was. That’s great for the first few chapters but it felt like it was the entire book that they never really communicated with each other. I might try one more book by Jenny Hale. I might have not liked the characters as much also because I listened to the audiobook sometimes too.
