Ayden and Laney were childhood sweethearts until ten years ago, Ayden makes the hard decision to leave town to get away from his father. They are both heartbroken. Ten years later, Laney finds where Ayden went and goes to see him. She's got a lot of things to tell him, including that he's a father. He's heartbroken all over again for missing out on ten years of his child's life. And he is determined to make it up to them both. I absolutely loved this second chance story! Ayden and Laney are just so perfect together, and I loved the relationship that quickly grew with Ayden and Serena. I loved how this introduced the Hollises and can't wait to read more in the series.
