The B couple (Emily and Ambrose) were sweet and fulfilling, but the main romance was very disappointing. Richard was not very likeable or developed and I was extremely annoyed that I got strung along in hopes of a constantly teased bisexual crossdressing twin threesome that never happened. Fools and cowards! It would have been so hot! The sex scenes were really good but the vibe around sexuality was kind of weird! Also a minor point but very annoying, it's rather stupid about the French Revolution. There were no prisoners held in the Bastille during the Reign of Terror! France has a whole holiday about tearing the fortress down, at least try. I enjoyed some of the supporting cast so I might give the series another shot but I am pretty annoyed with this one.
