Chance was just traded to the Blizzards after an altercation with his previous captain. After a year, he finally feels that he fits in with his new team/found family. Gemma is a chef for most of her friends/family of athletes. She refuses to cook for Chance himself but does for his 2 Great Danes. They “hate” each other and so much tension between them. As things escalate, they grow closer and the sparks build. They must overcome some challenges. After some miscommunication, Chance must fight for Gemma. Oh man, is it one of the best grovels I’ve read in a while. I loved this story so much!
