Alex and Delaney meet one night, both looking for a one-night stand, thinking the other was a tourist at the ski resort they work at. Little do they know that they both work there and happen to be best friends with siblings, Max and Zoey. Once they realize that they now work together, they work at truce to get along for their job's sake. This truce turns into a friendship that ends up blurring lines between them. Alex cares for Delaney when she gets hurt, and neither of them know how to feel or what to do about their growing feelings. Then, Alex ends up snapping at Delaney because of his own insecurities, and they go their separate ways until a snow storm rolls in and they are lost in an avalanche. I really enjoyed this book. I felt that it was very well written and liked that I wasn't able to predict what would happen. This was the first book in a duet, and I look forward to reading the rest of Alex and Delaney's story. Received an ARC and give my honest review
