Hayes and River were best friends... until River told Hayes she wanted to be more than friends. He didn't feel the same, and River ran away, embarrassed and hurt. About 10 years later, River is back after her mom calls asking for help, and Hayes is asking for a second chance at their friendship. When she finally lets him back in, she realizes her feelings are most definitely still there, and it seems Hayes has some too. But will she be just another notch in his bedpost, or will it be more?! I was looking forward to Hayes and River's story after reading Burned and this was so good! I loved all the flashbacks of Hayes and River growing up together and just the little snippets of their friendship. Received an ARC and give my honest review
