Cruz and Lillian are stepsiblings that just have not gotten along and never saw each other as siblings, no matter how much their parents wanted them to. Cruz is a professional soccer player and lives in Miami. Lillian is a recent college grad that has a few job interviews set up in Miami. Their parents push the issue and ask Cruz to let Lillian stay with him while she's in Miami for those job interviews. While staying with Cruz, Lillian helps him out by being his date to an event, which ends badly, and Cruz feels guilty. He ends up admitting more than he should, and they realize they have both had some feelings/thoughts about the other for a long time. This was a really good story, and I enjoyed reading it. Received an ARC and give my honest review
