It's been 4 years since Calista met Detective Hudson Mott. He was the detective on the case of a serial rap!st, in which she was a victim. The case ran cold, and it's eaten at Hidson all these years since. When the same victims are being targeted again, he is determined to solve the case. He goes to check on the one victim that has stuck in his head, Calista. She needs his help and protection but doesn't know how that feels. When Calista is put in danger, will Hudson be able to keep her safe. I really enjoyed this story. I felt that Calista's character was very well portrayed. I like how even though they both had their issues, the other was so determined to help work through them. Received an ARC and give my honest review
