Treading Water
When I started my first year of college, I had one goal in mind and it had nothing to do with school.
I wanted to earn a spot on the U.S. National Water Polo Team.
I never imagined that my new coach would be someone I looked up to.
Someone whose entire career I meticulously followed... and someone I had a misguided crush on.
The first moment I lock eyes with Fallon Harris is the moment everything changed.
The Olympics weren’t the only thing on my mind anymore.
He doesn't feel the same because everything that comes out of his mouth is anything but admiration.

Sage is up and coming water polo player with the potential for the Olympics. She is excited to be starting college and working towards her goal. Enter her new assistant coach, Fallon Harris, who just happens to be the gold metalist Olympian Sage has a crush on and idolizes. During practice, Fallon pushes her hard and thinks he's punishing her for something but later finds out that he just sees so much potential in her. I absolutely loved this story! There's something about a coach falling for their gifted athlete that makes me so happy! They see how far they can go and will push them to achieve their goals. If Brooke writes it, I'm reading it!
