At Toren's 4th of July party, he meets a woman, Jennsyn, that he has an instant attraction to. They end up talking and enjoying themselves. Then, eventually end up in bed all night. Two weeks later, they run into each other and find out that she's a student and volleyball player and he's a football coach. They both actively try to stay away from the other but later find out that they are also neighbors. When neither can stay away any longer, they start sneaking around. Neither one wants to stop but knows what will happen if they are caught. Slowly, it becomes obvious that they don't care, that the other is worth sacrificing everything for. I absolutely loved this story! Devney writes such amazing stories, and this was no different. I love how Toren just got Jennsyn and helped her to see what she wanted to do instead of what everyone else wanted for her. I also loved that Jennsyn saw how much Toren does for the people he loves and never asks for anything in return, and decided she would care for him! I just loved them so much! Received an ARC and give my honest review
