This continues right after Puppeteer. Zelda just figured out who her masked man was and plans to confront him. When her plans go array, she isn't sure what to do anymore. Luca is her dad's best friend and has helped raise her. They should not be doing anything together, but they just can not help themselves. Luca can't stay away, and Zelda can't resist him. When things blow up and leave many lives ruined, Zelda runs away to deal with her own predicament. This story was a wild ride. I really enjoyed it. I felt so many emotions and feelings throughout this story. There were times when I was really sure Luca was irredeemable, but I was able to see the changes he made. I recommend reading Puppeteer before reading Free Fall. Received an ARC and give my honest review
