While walking down the streets of New York, Sterling overhears a beautiful voice singing and is completely drawn to it and follows it to a bar. He finds a woman singing and is just entranced by the sound and ends up passing out. The woman, Friday, helps him out, and they end up going back to his place. They share a wonderful night together, but Friday leaves before the morning comes. Months later, Friday turns out to be Sterling's new stepsister, Harlow, but he feels anything but brotherly for her. I absolutely loved this story! I enjoyed getting to understand Sterling and his synesthesia. It broke my heart knowing that he was treated so poorly by his father, but Harlow instantly understood and wanted nothing but to help him. I loved that they were both very protective of the other, too! Received an ARC and give my honest review
