Alex is in need of some money after being fired from her last job. She ends up at a kid's birthday party dressed up like a giant white rabbit. After a while, she goes to take a break and ends up in the area where Matt and his associates are talking business. Matt needs to know what she's heard without outright asking, so he hires her to work for his company to keep a close eye on her. I enjoyed this story. It was a bit different from what I'm used to with Max Monroe, but still a great read. While this wasn't an Alice in Wonderland retelling, I enjoyed all the references, like names and small details.
