The Prodigal Son
I’ve been alone long enough. As a chart-topping country singer, I’m living the dream. While my family is all back in Austin, embracing their happily-ever-afters, I’m on the road on a sold-out tour. I should feel ecstatic, yet all I am is lonely.

Isaac is country superstar Theo Virgil. He ran away when he was 17 and hasn't looked back, making it big on his own merit. He's starting his first big national tour and still can't believe all that he's accomplished. After a show he meets a couple with backstage passes. He entertains them but is focused on the older man, Jensen. Jensen is a preacher and a huge fan of Theo Virgil. Jensen and Isaac hit it off and become good friends, but things seem to be leading to more. They each have their reasons for keeping their relationship a secret and accept that it'll take time. As Isaac falls more and more, he is more ready to come out to the world, but Jensen has past trauma that is preventing him from being able to do the same. I really enjoyed this story! This was such a great finale to the series and gave Isaac his moment. I loved so much about this story, but especially loved how everything kind of just fell into place and worked out in the most realistic ways. While this has some pretty heavy topics, it was such a great love story! Received an ARC and give my honest review
