Gavin is Jordan’s brother, formal NFL player, billionaire, and single dad. Emily is Maya’s best friend and nurse. When Gavin needs help with his son, Emily is the nurse on duty. She is great with him and Gavin is drawn to her. He offers one night together and she agrees, but they both quickly realize that one night is not enough. Gavin is hesitant to date because he wants to make sure his focus is on his son, and Emily understands this completely, which makes it even harder for him to deny that she’s good for him. I loved this story. I loved that Jordan and Maya were included in the story. I loved how they just couldn’t stop thinking about each other and how their feelings grew. This had low drama because they were mature about their feelings and hang ups and talked things through. Gavin didn’t want to take away from his son, so he appreciated that Emily never pushed for more. I also loved Emily’s relationship with Gavin’s son. Received an ARC and give my honest review
