I read/listened to this book as an audio book. (I've discovered a new obsession in audio books as of late) and while I have read other Ellen Hopkins' books in the past this one blew me away. I love how the author can describe so much and yet not be vulgar or profane. I have never read any other books written the way she writes hers and I absolutely adore that because she's writing in her way and not being stereotypical about it. Every time I listened to the book there was a new angle to the story. Meth addiction led to Rape and rape led to teenage pregnancy. I am definitely looking forward to buying the next book in the series come Payday. I urge any and all of you to check out the book if you haven't already. Ellen brings to light the things in life we want to cover up and pretend aren't there. These topics are the real deal. Anyway 5 out of 5 stars. And if you are interested check out my blog where I update daily about life and books I'm reading and so on and so forth https://bookishlyinspired20.blogspot.com
