4.25 stars. This book was such an unexpected treat. I follow the author on tiktok and decided to give it a go as it was available on kindle unlimited. It was an easy read but still really interesting. The lore made me want more (lol). The FMC is conflicted and I loved that. She's morally grey and not someone you necessarily would root for but you do. The side characters are very interesting, diverse and always leave me wondering what is going to happen next. I'm so glad I picked up this book and will continue with the series.
