I will say I was not aware this was a Christian fiction/romance book (which is not a genre I enjoy reading) but that isn't why I rated it so low. I found all but two characters fairly unlikable and not in line with their supposed ages at all. The main character spent much of the beginning of the book complaining about noise and dust which was just annoying and almost made me DNF. I actually thought the plot was good and there was a strong story there but the fact that this was more of a novella made the whole thing feel rushed and by the time the book was ending, I was left wanting more despite not caring for the characters. The whole thing just fell flat for me unfortunately.
